Introduction

The largest alpine wildlife nature reserve in China is the Altai Nature Reserve, surrounded by forests and numerous lakes, with a variety of wild animals, known as a "natural zoo". It boasts magnificent scenery including modern glaciers, plateau lakes, and plateau deserts. The 7323-meter Muze Tagh peak is the ideal place for enthusiasts to climb. In the dense forest, you may witness the thrilling scene of snow leopards chasing prey, as well as the intense collision of wild goats fighting for mates. Additionally, there are golden eagles hovering and diving from high in the air to catch mountain chickens, and natural sightings of wild camels, Tibetan wild donkeys, wild yaks, Tibetan antelopes, wild goats, and deer wandering along the riverside.
