Introduction

Hunan First Normal University, located in Yue Lu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, is one of the first cooperative colleges to participate in the "Ma Yun Rural Normal Student Plan" in Hunan Province. The university is renowned as a "millennium school and a century-old normal school" and was once the place where young Mao Zedong studied and worked. Currently, the only original item left from the time when Chairman Mao exercised at the university is the cold well he used, as all other buildings were destroyed in a fire.
