Introduction

Huangling Scenic Area is located in the Shi'er Mountains, about 39 kilometers from Wuyuan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, and only about 9 kilometers from the Jiangwan Expressway exit. This scenic area, covering an area of about 5 square kilometers, was built in the mid-Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 500 years. Huangling is known as the "Tiyun Renjia" because the terraced fields here surround the villages, forming a layered green landscape. Huangling is a typical mountain village, and the village group is arranged in a fan-shaped terrace around the water outlet, forming a beautiful landscape. Visitors can take the cable car to enjoy the beautiful mountain village, or visit historical sites in the village street, or visit the terraced fields or flower seas. In May 2014, Huangling was rated as a national AAAA-level tourist scenic spot. The main attractions in the scenic area are Huangling Shaiqiu Village, Terraced Fields and Flower Seas, Flower Town, Huaxi Water Street, Lei Xin Bridge, Tianjie, Ice and Snow Museum, and Starry Art Museum. In March, Huangling welcomes a sea of yellow, with hundreds of thousands of acres of rapeseed flowers blooming on the terraced fields, creating a stunning view of unity with nature. The villages, distant mountains, nearby water, walls, roofs and the yellow tiles and rapeseed flowers complement each other, making the entire scenic area look like a beautiful ancient village drawn from a painting.
