1. Passenger buses
Kunming-Qiubei-Puzhehei: Take the Kunming-Qiubei buses from Kunming East Bus Station, with a total distance of about 300 kilometers. The departure times and ticket prices are 9:00 (137 yuan), 10:00 (114 yuan), 11:00 (114 yuan), 12:30 (137 yuan), 14:00 (114 yuan), 20:10 (138 yuan), and 20:30 (138 yuan). The last two buses have sleeping berths, while the others have seats. From Qiubei county to Puzhehei scenic area is about 13 kilometers, where you could take the public buses from Qiubei Bus Station to Puzhehei, running every half an hour to an hour from 8:00 to 17:30 at a cost of 2 yuan per person.
2. Airplane
You could take a flight to Wenshan Puzhehei Airport, which is located in Yanshan county, about 80 kilometers away from the scenic area. Then you need to take a passing car from Wenshan to Qiubei (7:00-18:00, running every 10 minutes, costing 31 yuan) and transfer to a bus to Puzhehei scenic area in Qiubei. This transportation is quite complicated and not recommended. Alternatively, you could take a taxi directly from the airport to Puzhehei at a cost of 100-200 yuan.
