Introduction

The scenic area centers around Bailong Lake and includes attractions such as Qinglong Island, Cuizhu Island, and Biyun Island. Its feature is the exhibition of mountains and waters and the many small islands and peninsulas in the water, with a very wide area. There are 7 small islands and 3 peninsulas in the lake, which have been known as "Yunnan's Thousand Island Lake" since ancient times. Dense forests grow on the islands, making it a habitat for migratory birds. Bailong Lake belongs to a plateau freshwater lake, with blue-green water and a general transparency of 4-5 meters in every season, characterized by clear transparency. Even during the flood season, it is rare to see muddy water. The autumn and winter seasons are the most beautiful time of the scenic area, where there are plenty of wild ducks and white egrets appearing in pairs, and the schools of fish in the lake will also appear from time to time.

[External Transportation] 1. Passenger Bus: From Kunming to Puzhehei: Take a bus from Kunming Eastern Bus Station to Qiaobei, which is approximately 300 kilometers. Departure times and ticket prices are at 9:00 (137 yuan), 10:00 (114 yuan), 11:00 (114 yuan), 12:30 (137 yuan), 14:00 (114 yuan), 20:10 (138 yuan), 20:30 (138 yuan). The last two buses have sleeps, while others are seats. From Qiaobei County to Puzhehei Scenic Area is 13 kilometers, and you can take the bus from Qiaobei Passenger Station to Puzhehei every day from 8:00 to 17:30. They run from half an hour to one hour. The fare is 2 yuan. 2. Plane: You can take a plane to Wenshan Puzhehei Airport, which is located in Yanshan County, and it is more than 80 kilometers from the scenic area. You need to take the Wenshan-Qiaobei through-car (7:00-18:00, 10 minutes one round, 31 yuan) to Qiaobei County first, then transfer to a bus to Puzhehei Scenic Area. It is a bit troublesome, not recommended. You can also take a taxi from the airport directly to Puzhehei, with a fee of 100-200 yuan.
