Introduction

Chongming Academy is one of the three well-preserved Confucian temples in Shanghai, with a history dating back to ancient times. It was a school dedicated to worshiping Confucius and conducting official business. Today, visitors can admire the Ming Dynasty architecture, such as Lingxing Gate, Panchi, Jimen and Chongsheng Temple, which are all exquisite ancient buildings. At the same time, it is also the location of the Chongming Museum, with two exhibition areas: "The History and Ancient Ships of Chongming Island" and "Chongming Folk Customs", with a rich variety of exhibits. It is worth mentioning that there are not many tourists here, making it a great place to stroll and enjoy the historical and cultural atmosphere.

Public transportation: take a bus to Baoyang Road Ferry Terminal or Shidongkou Ferry Terminal, take a ferry to Chongming Nanmen Ferry Terminal and walk 500 meters eastward from the terminal.
