Introduction

Putang Nature Scenic Area is located in the Putang Mountain area in the eastern part of Ma'anshan City, covering an area of about 20 square kilometers. The terrain here is rugged, with overlapping mountains and abundant natural landscapes, dense trees, and winding mountain roads. There are a total of 49 large and small peaks, 53 canyons, 8 reservoirs, and 290 dammed ponds in the scenic area; the forest area covers 18,000 acres, the bamboo forest covers 5,000 acres, and the tea plantation covers 350 acres. There are also more than 300 different types of plants. There are various ways for tourists to travel to the scenic area: Bus route 1 departs from the riverfront and municipal office, route 2 departs from the textile factory and municipal office, route 3 departs from the train station and heads towards the mountain, and so on; taxis such as Xia Li and Ou Tu have a starting fare of 5 yuan (6.6 yuan at night), and an additional 1.2 yuan per kilometer after exceeding 3 kilometers. Ma'anshan City is relatively small, and even if you take a taxi from the train station to the Nanjiao Caishi Scenic Area, the cost is only about 10 yuan, and the starting fare is usually enough to reach the city center by taxi. Please note that routes 11 and 12 are temporarily suspended.
