Introduction

Yinghu Lake, located about 16 kilometers southwest of the urban area of Ankang City, is the largest freshwater lake in the five provinces of northwest China and is also a national AAAA-level tourist area. The total area of Yinghu Lake is approximately 102.8 square kilometers, with a water area of approximately 77 square kilometers, a circumference of approximately 540 kilometers, a storage capacity of approximately 2.6 billion cubic meters, and an average depth of over 100 meters. The scenic area is filled with blue water and blue skies, and is enough to make you feel the charm of the Qinba fairyland. The water quality of Yinghu Lake is excellent, with a wide variety of biological species, a mild climate, and many islands, commonly known as the "Thousand Island Lake of Shaanxi". Yinghu Lake is a provincial-level scenic spot in Shaanxi and one of the top ten most beautiful scenery spots in Shaanxi, with unique natural scenery of the Qinba and Han rivers.
