Introduction

Yingxiu Town is one of the epicenters and disaster areas of the Wenchuan Earthquake, which caused the collapse of most houses and landslides, leading to water and power outages, disruptions in communication and transportation. Today, the ruins of Yingxiu Town include a museum commemorating the earthquake and the earthquake site of Xuan Kou Middle School, both of which have been reinforced and supported, but most of the scenes have been preserved in their original state. At the intersection of Yingxiu Town, there is a big rock with "5.12 Epicenter Yingxiu" written on it. This huge rock rolled down from the mountain during the earthquake and has now become a landmark sign of Yingxiu Town.
