Introduction

Daxiong Baodian is the Buddhist activity center of Shaolin Temple. It was formerly known as "Three-World Buddha Hall" and "Liu Li Hall", and is also known as the Main Hall, Central Hall, or Treasure Hall. The hall was rebuilt on its original site and houses statues of the three Buddhas. In the center sits Shakyamuni Buddha of the Saha World, flanked by the three saints of Huayan: Manjusri Bodhisattva and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva. Bhaisajya-guru Buddha is on the left, accompanied by the two Bodhisattvas of Sunlight and Moonlight. Amitabha Buddha is on the right, accompanied by the two Bodhisattvas of Guanyin and Dashizhi.

Transportation
Transportation to Shaolin Temple 1. Zhengzhou - Shaolin Temple: There are shuttle buses departing from Zhengzhou Bus Station (No. 14 Xinglong Street, located in Zhengzhou Railway Station Square) to Shaolin Temple between 6:30 and 11:40 every day. The interval between buses is about half an hour, and the journey takes about 2 hours. 2. Luoyang - Shaolin Temple: Take a bus from Luoyang Long-distance Bus Station (Dao Nan Road, Xi Gong District, opposite to Luoyang Railway Station) to Dengfeng or Xuchang (frequent departure) for about 1.5 hours to the entrance of Shaolin Temple. After getting off, you can buy tickets and enter the scenic area. The journey takes about 2 hours. 3. Dengfeng - Shaolin Temple: Take Bus Route 8 from Dengfeng Bus West Station (No. 129 Zhong Yue Street, Dengfeng) to Shaolin Temple, which takes about 30 minutes. Transportation inside the scenic area 1. Electric vehicle: It costs 10 yuan per person, but it is not recommended to take it because the area is not large and it is better to walk around. 2. Cable car: Shaolin Cable Car (Talin-Sanhuangzhai): One-way ticket costs 50 yuan per person and round-trip ticket costs 60 yuan per person. The journey takes about 20 minutes, and it takes about 5 minutes to walk from the cable car station to Shaolin Temple Talin. Songyang Cable Car (Talin-Erzu An): Round-trip ticket costs 40 yuan per person. The attraction is very small, and it is not recommended to visit.
