Introduction

The Yuling Concubine's Garden Mausoleum was originally called the Concubine Courtyard, which included an arched bridge, flat bridge, east and west wing rooms, east and west duty rooms, main gate, braziers, offering hall, glass flower gate, and treasure top, all surrounded by a red wall. However, in the 25th year of Qianlong (1760), Qianlong Emperor's consort, Chunhui Noble Consort, passed away, so Qianlong Emperor ordered the renovation of the garden mausoleum, adding five annex halls on each side, as well as the square city, Ming tower, and treasure city. He also demolished three mausoleum gates and two wide walls, rebuilding them on both sides of the offering hall. The renovation project was completed in the 27th year of Qianlong (1762), costing a total of 134,004.303 taels of silver.
