Introduction

Shengshuiyu, located west of Xiaoling, is the site of Qingyuling. The tomb was built in the eighth year of Qianlong (1743) and was completed in the 17th year of Qianlong after nine years of construction, costing more than 1.7 million taels of silver. The Ming Hall is magnificent and extremely exquisite with innovative designs based on the inheritance of the previous dynasty. The mausoleum building basically continues the style of the 13 Ming tombs and has undergone some improvements. The buildings arranged from north to south include the East and West Facing Rooms, Classrooms, Long-en Gate, East and West Incense Burners, East and West Hall of Offerings, Long-en Hall, Mausoleum Gate, Double Pillar Gate, Stone Five Offering, Square City, Ming Tower, Crescent City, Treasure City, and Treasure Top, which connect to the Long-en Gate and are surrounded by red walls.

Transportation
From mid-March to mid-November on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, there is a special car from Tianjin to Huangyaguan and Qingdongling, departing from 6:30-7:00 in the morning. Alternatively, you can take a long-distance bus from Hebei Station to Jixian and transfer to a bus to Qingdongling.
