Introduction
Zigong Colorful Lantern Park, located in the prime area of downtown Zigong, covers an area of about 10.3 hectares, with a water area of about 0.75 hectares. It is a cultural park that combines landscaping and amusement facilities. The Zigong Lantern Festival is held here. It has undergone many name changes since its construction began in 1930 and is now led by the Zigong Lantern Trade Commission. The park is located in the area of "two mountains and one lake", with beautiful scenery. The uniquely shaped "China Colorful Lantern Museum" on the south mountain is quaint and elegant, while the "Magical City" on the north mountain is mysterious and fantastical. The artificial lake in the park is rippling, with green trees and flowers blooming on both sides. The amusement area provides excitement and fun, while the bonsai area showcases the grand and profound Bonsai of the Giant Jade Carving "The Yangtze River Goes East".
