Introduction

In 1903, a calm and elegant building - the French Consulate was witnessed by the Guangzhou Bay. This three-story building facing the Guangzhou Bay includes a basement and a European-style flower corridor. The curved steps lead directly to the second floor, and a clock tower is provided on the third floor and above. The consulate is spacious and bright, equipped with fireplaces and decorative doors and windows, representing the typical French architectural style. The French Consulate was once one of the highest ruling authorities of the French concession in Guangzhou Bay. Today, it has become a witness to the hundred-year history of Zhanjiang. The ruins of the French Consulate are located near the Times Square, where tourists can also visit.
