Introduction

Located in the Zhudongtian Scenic Area in Rizhao, this place boasts large thick bamboo that is rarely seen in the north, covering an area of over 1,000 acres. The lush bamboo forest sprawling under the sky gives visitors a lasting impression. While bamboo is typically associated with growth in southern areas, Rizhao has surprisingly got such a large bamboo garden, with buildings resembling Dong ethnic style, which adds a unique southern flavor to the garden.The expansive bamboo forest also makes Zhudongtian Scenic Area a natural breathing space and an excellent place to escape the summer heat. Visitors can leisurely enjoy tea and spend a whole day in the green bamboo forest. In this bamboo garden, you can also enjoy free ethnic song and dance performances as well as play with entertainment facilities made of bamboo. Especially recommended is the Dong Family Banquet, which is both affordable and of great value and worth trying.
