Introduction
Chaji Village in Jing County, Anhui Province is a well-preserved ancient architectural complex, located at the confluence of three streams - Cenxi, Xuxi, and Shixi. The white-walled and black-tiled Huizhou-style buildings are built along the streams. The village has numerous ancestral halls, and the Huizhou-style brick carvings, wood carvings, and stone carvings on the buildings are exquisitely made. Visitors can also appreciate the Erjia Ancestral Hall and other typical Huizhou-style buildings. In addition, tourists can visit the De Gong Tang building, a Yuan Dynasty ancient building, and taste the local soybean tofu. Airitang was once a filming location for "The Inn in the Mountains," while Yuegui Mountain Villa was the hometown of Hu Ge’s character in "Life Revelation." For a more comprehensive understanding of the natural landscape of Jing County, visitors can also visit Taohua Tan to the east, which is only about 20 kilometers away from Chaji Village.
