Introduction

The Yunfeng Mountain Scenic Area is located about 3 kilometers north of Yanluo Village, Bulao Tun Town, Miyun County, Beijing, and about 60 kilometers from the county seat. It has been rated as a national AAA-level scenic spot. The mountain peak is about 675 meters above sea level, with beautiful scenery, rich historical relics and legends. From the mountain, you can see the vast expanse of blue water and misty waves of the Miyun Reservoir, allowing people to indulge in endless poetry. There are also many historical and cultural relics hidden in the mountain, including the oldest and largest cliff stone carvings in Beijing, Chao Sheng An, built in the Sui Dynasty, and the amazing Guanyin Cave. The sound of the bells and the incense of these ancient temples have been flourishing to this day, making Yunfeng Mountain famous throughout the country. In addition, Yunfeng Mountain is also the best lavender viewing base in Beijing, China, where you can enjoy the beautiful lavender flower sea, taste unique herb foods, experience various lavender crafts DIY, and feel the slow life and relaxed mood. Legend has it that this is a paradise for immortals, and there is a story about Wang Zhishang who accidentally ate a fairy peach when he went up the mountain to chop wood, and when he returned home, he found that his great-grandson was already over 100 years old. This story has given the nearby village the name Bulao Tun, meaning "never-aging village."
