Introduction

The Cao Cao Memorial Museum is located in Cao Cao Park, and it is a key commemorative site that focuses on the life of Cao Cao, an outstanding politician, military strategist, and writer during the Three Kingdoms period. The museum is constructed in a three-section Han-style architecture, and exhibits include Cao Cao's biography, the Wei Wu Temple, the Three Cao Poetry Stele corridor, the Cao Cao Wax Elephant, and other exhibits. The museum was built in 2009 and covers an area of 2,200 square meters, showcasing Cao Cao's lifetime achievements in politics, military, and literature. Cao Cao, also known as Mengde and Ah Man, was born in Qiao County, Bozhou, Anhui Province, China (then known as Pei State). He was a prominent figure in China during the Eastern Han Dynasty and was a famous military strategist, politician, and poet. He became the founder and promoter of the Wei State and later became the King of Wei. Under his rule, he extensively developed farmland and irrigation systems in the North to revive agricultural production. Additionally, he pursued meritocracy over hereditary privilege in governance and restricted local powerful figures, which led to economic recovery and development. He was also a master of military strategy and wrote several works, including "Sun Tzu's Art of War," "Summary of Military Strategy," and "Mengde's New Book." As an exceptional leader in both military and politics, he was adept in music and poetry, expressing his political ambitions and reflecting on the hardships of the people during the Han Dynasty.
