Introduction

Caishi Jiao, also known as Niuzhu Jiao, is located at the foot of Cuiluo Mountain, 5 kilometers southwest of Ma'anshan City. As one of the three famous rocks of the Yangtze River, Caishi Jiao is renowned for its spectacular water and stone landscape and profound cultural heritage. The great Tang Dynasty poet, Li Bai, visited this place many times and left immortal poems. Legend has it that he once caught the moon while drunk and rode a whale to ascend to heaven. He was particularly fond of Caishi Jiao and eventually rested in peace in the nearby Qing Mountain. During the Tang Dynasty's Yuanhe reign, Taibai Tower was built as the best vantage point to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Yangtze River. For thousands of years, this place has attracted countless literati and talents to promote cultural prosperity, making Caishi Jiao an immortal cultural shrine. Caishi Jiao has a beautiful natural environment and has been the focus of military struggle in history. For example, the Song-Jin battle of Caishi during the Southern Song Dynasty became a model of "winning with less, defeating the strong with the weak, and winning with culture instead of warfare" in ancient military history. At the same time, Caishi Jiao is also one of the Buddhist holy places in China. Guanji Temple was established during the Eastern Han Dynasty. After experiencing vicissitudes of life, Caishi Jiao is still a comprehensive scenic area that combines natural, military, and religious history. Its beauty and cultural heritage have become people's favorite destinations for tourism and exploration.
