Introduction

Mount Tiantai is located in the north of Tiantai County, Zhejiang Province, connected to the Xianxia Ridge and facing the Zhoushan Islands. It is the watershed of the Yongjiang River and the Caoe River, with the main peak Hua Ding at a height of 1,098 meters above sea level and is composed of granite. The terrain is characterized by steep cliffs and waterfalls, offering breathtaking natural scenery. Located in the eastern part of Zhejiang Province, Mount Tiantai is at the junction of Ningbo, Shaoxing, Jinhua, and Wenzhou. It is known for its reputation as a source of Buddhism and Taoism and for its picturesque landscapes. In 1988, it was designated as a national key scenic area by the State Council, selected as one of the "Top 10 Tourist Attractions in Zhejiang Province" in 1992, and awarded the national AAAA-level tourism area in 2015.

Transportation
From Jiaojiang, Huangyan, and Luqiao in Taizhou City, you can take a local bus to Tiantai County at Taizhou Passenger Transport Center, West Station, and South Station respectively. There is a bus every half an hour, and the transportation is very convenient. After arriving at Tiantai County Station, you can take a bus from Tiantai Station to Tiantai Mountain and various tourist attractions, which can be taken at any time.
