Introduction

Qinglong Bay Ecotourism Area is located in Ningguo City, covering Qinglong Lake, surrounding towns, and the provincial-level Banqiao Nature Reserve, with a total area of about 280 square kilometers. The tourism area is currently integrating and applying for a national forest park, which is a key project for eco-construction and tourism development in Ningguo City. The tourism area combines mountain, water, and cultural landscapes, rich in ecological resources, with a forest coverage rate of up to 78%. Due to excellent air and water quality, the Qinglong Bay Ecotourism Area has been praised by experts as having "first-class air and water quality". Qinglong Lake is an artificial lake formed by the large-scale national water conservancy project, the Gangkou Bay reservoir, with a water storage capacity of 940 million cubic meters, a lake area of about 34 square kilometers, 38 islands, and beautiful scenery. The Banqiao Nature Reserve preserves more than 50,000 acres of natural Chinese torreya forest, which is the only original forest with the best preservation and forest structure in the North Asia tropical region. In addition, the landscapes of Shizhu Mountain and Gaofeng Mountain are also unique. Recently discovered scenic spots such as Banqiao Ancient Karst Cave Group also have great potential for development. The overall plan and detailed plan of some scenic spots in the Qinglong Bay Ecotourism Area have been completed, and the construction of tourism facilities has also begun. In the future, it is expected to develop various projects such as sightseeing tourism, water sports, leisure vacation, film and television base, and sightseeing ecological agriculture.
