Introduction

Huilong Park is located on Huilong Mountain in the southwest district of Yiyang City. It is named after the mountain and is a natural botanical garden covering an area of 18,600 square meters. It combines scenic spots and modern garden architecture. The surrounding peaks are verdant, ancient trees tower overhead, and there are winding paths and lush vegetation. Upon entering the mountain gate, a lush greenery welcomes visitors, with rare species of trees and ancient trees fighting for attention throughout the park. The park also has a well-preserved natural secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest, with the oldest tree over 400 years old. Along the mountain road, you can see the ancient Qu Xiashi and magnificent Qixia Pavilion from the Eastern Jin Dynasty. The temple has a long history, dating back over 1500 years. The park also has some commemorative buildings, such as the tomb of Lieutenant General Deng Baoyan who sacrificed in the Northern Expedition War and the tomb of important general Zhou Zefan. In addition, the unique octagonal pavilion, hexagonal pavilion and rockeries are highlights of the modern garden architecture in the park.
