Introduction

The Liping Scenic Area is located in Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province, with beautiful surroundings and pleasant scenery. The area includes beautiful landscapes such as forests, meadows, waterfalls, and stone forests, and is composed of four major scenic areas: Huangyang River, Shima Mountain, and Lengba. The area contains more than 160 scenic spots, with the main landscapes being the primitive forest, the customs and traditions of the Ba people, and the Anhan former residence. The Chinese Dragon Mountain landscape is a unique geological phenomenon unique to the area, resembling a giant dragon and estimated to have formed in the Ordovician period 400 to 500 million years ago. It has extremely high viewing value. In addition, the Shima Mountain scenic area features high mountain peaks and Stone Forest landscapes, which is unique in the country. The Lengba scenic area is mainly composed of high mountain meadows with herds of cattle and sheep and wildflowers, presenting a beautiful rural scenery. During the annual rapeseed flower season in March and April, the golden rapeseed flowers cover the entire area, which is extremely spectacular. Transportation

You can take a shuttle bus from Hanzhong to Nanzheng District, and then transfer to another bus to Liping Town. There are also direct buses from Hantai District in the central urban area of Hanzhong to Liping.
