Introduction

Located at the intersection of Jiefang East Street and Yuhuangge South and North Streets in Xingqing District, Yinchuan, Yuhuangge was built in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 600 years. As a traditional wooden structure with a large roof building, Yuhuangge has a statue of the Jade Emperor inside and is the only ancient wooden structure high-rise pavilion in Yinchuan. Its unique architectural style and superb skills fully demonstrate the exquisite craftsmanship of ancient craftsmen in Yinchuan. As a cultural heritage protection unit in Ningxia, Yuhuangge often hosts various small art, calligraphy, and cultural relics exhibitions, and is one of the open tourist attractions in Yinchuan.
