Introduction

Yaomaiyong means "Manjusri Bodhisattva" in Tibetan and is located at an altitude of 5958 meters. In Buddhism, it is the highest peak of the "Three Holy Mountains" in the Snowy Mountains. The Yaomaiyong peak resembles a quiet and dignified young girl. Standing at the top of the peak and looking back, you can see the surrounding mountains, wide canyons, forests, grasslands, streams, and a magnificent scenery.

Transportation

"External Transportation: To reach Yading Scenic Area, you need to take a charter car from Daocheng County, and can only go as far as Jiawa Township. From Jiawa, you need to switch to a sightseeing vehicle operated by the scenic area to reach Yading Village. It takes about one and a half hours from Daocheng to Jiawa, and about one and a half hours from Jiawa to Yading Village. The round trip cost for a car from Daocheng to Jiawa is approximately 400-700 yuan per car, and for carpooling it is about 50 yuan per person. Internal Transportation: You can take a sightseeing vehicle to Longlongba, and then ride a horse to Chonggu Temple, or take a scenic electric car to Luorong Cattle Farm and walk from there."
