Here, you can enjoy the magnificent snow-capped mountains and the vast grasslands that are dotted with charming scenery such as forests and flower gardens. The green grass on the grassland is lush and various wildflowers are blooming in bright colors, especially in May to September, creating a gorgeous sea of flowers. Transportation

Travelling to Kalajun Grassland usually starts with chartering a car from Urumqi to travel along the Yili Circle. The shortest conventional route takes about seven days, visiting scenic spots in the Ili River Valley including Sailimu Lake, Bayinbuluk Grassland, Zhaosu Grassland, Tekes, and Narat Grassland. This is also the most classic way to explore Ili. The price for chartering a car in peak season in Urumqi is around 500 yuan per day per car.
