Introduction

Dingling is the mausoleum of Emperor Xianfeng of the Qing Dynasty, located at the western end of Ping'anyu in the Qing East Tombs. Its spirit path connects with the Xiaoling spirit path, stretching westward through a five-hole flat bridge, a culvert, a five-hole arched bridge, a pair of lookout pillars, five pairs of stone statues, a towering gate, and a spirit path stele pavilion. Dingling has eliminated the two-pillar gate and is similar to the ancestral tomb. The construction of the mausoleum lasted for 7 and a half years, costing 3,134,547 taels of silver. In 1966, the West Chamber and the West Side Palace were dismantled.
