Introduction

The famous scenic spot of Mount Sanqing, the Eastern Goddess, is located in the northeastern part of Nanqingyuan, with an altitude of over 1180 meters. The whole mountain peak is shaped like a beautiful girl with long hair, which is amazing. For billions of years, the goddess has been quietly sitting on the top of the mountain, silently watching the sentient beings, with a peaceful expression. It is said that the goddess's name is YaoJi, who is the twenty-third daughter of Xi Wangmu. People believe that she represents spring, and therefore, she is called the "Eastern Goddess."

Peak season (February 1 - December 31): Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00, Saturday and Sunday 7:30-17:30
Off-season (January 1 - January 31): 8:30-16:30.

Transportation

1. Take the eastern cableway (Jinsha cableway) at the entrance of Sanqingshan and arrive in about 10 minutes. 2. Walk about 4.22 kilometers, taking about one hour.
