Introduction

There is a place called Talin to the west of Shaolin Temple, where all the generations of Shaolin masters have been buried since the Tang Dynasty. Talin is the largest cemetery in China, with 232 towers of various shapes including square, rectangular, hexagonal, octagonal and circular. The size and height of each tower are determined by the level of Buddhist attainment, reputation, and merit of the high monks during their lifetime. Among them, there are 2 Tang towers, 2 Song towers, 10 Jin towers, 46 Yuan towers, 148 Ming towers, and others are Qing towers or towers of uncertain age. The area of Talin is over 14,000 square meters.

Transportation
The attraction is located inside Shaolin Temple and visitors need to arrive at the temple before going there. Transportation inside the attraction: 1. Electric car: 10 yuan/person, not recommended as the temple is not very big and can be easily visited on foot. 2. Cable car: Shaolin cable car (Talin-Sanhuangzhai): One-way ticket 50 yuan/person, round-trip ticket 60 yuan/person, takes about 20 minutes. The cable car stop is about a 5-minute walk from Shaolin Temple Talin. Songyang cable car (Talin-Erzuoan): Round-trip ticket 40 yuan/person. The attraction is very small and not recommended for visiting.
