Introduction

The tombs of the Prime Minister of Changsha, Li Cang, his wife, and son, are located in the eastern suburbs of the Mawangdui hospital, and have a history of over 2000 years. It is remarkable that these tombs have never been robbed. There are three tombs in total, with the first two being filled in. Only the third tomb and exhibition room are open to the public. Over 3000 precious cultural relics have been unearthed and are mostly well-preserved, including the famous Mawangdui female corpse.
