Introduction

Jiaoxi City is located on a central island of the Willow Leaf River in Yarlung Zangbo Canyon, west suburbs of Turpan, named for the convergence of two surrounding canals to the south of the city. As early as the Qin and Han Dynasties, the Jiaoxi City was built by the Cheshi people. Despite suffering long-term warfare destruction during the Yuan Dynasty in the 14th century, after more than 2300 years of wind and rain, the city is still relatively well-preserved. As the best-protected rammed earth building city in the world, we should visit it civilized, protect cultural relics, and avoid damage. Let these precious cultural heritages last longer.
