Introduction

Located along the Huaping River, the Hongshi Yegu in the Datong Ancient Town of Chishui is a famous attraction that is not far from the city center and has convenient transportation. It is characterized by red sandstone landforms, and the spectacular red sandstone murals and stone-carved corridors are breathtaking. The rock formations are unique and distinctive. Behind the red sandstone are beautiful green trees that provide shade, with clear streams and waterfalls visible everywhere. The scenery of the entire scenic area is like an original Jurassic Park. It is worth mentioning that there is a slide at the foot of the mountain where visitors can slide down and play, which is both fun and effortless.
