Introduction

This is one of the four ancient towns in Guizhou, located 25 kilometers east of Chishui city. It retains ancient architecture and culture, with red culture being particularly prominent as it was the site of the first crossing of the Red Army over the Chishui River. Visitors can visit the Red First Army Corps Exhibition Hall, as well as the bedroom where Lin Biao once stayed. The ancient town is surrounded by the Chishui River, and the hundreds of stilts built on round logs along the river are quite impressive. The town has only one narrow stone street, about 400 meters long, which has been the main trading place for surrounding villages and towns for centuries.
