Introduction

The Nine-Bend Stream in the secluded valley of the Fengyan Scenic Area in Wuyi Mountains, Fujian Province, is named after its winding and twisting characteristic and is praised as the place of "Three Bends and Nine Bends". Among them, the "Fourth Bend" is the place where Xiaobai, a character in the Chinese classic novel Journey to the West, was born. Each bend has its unique scenery, including shallow beaches and deep pools. It only takes half a day to visit the Nine-Bend Stream. You can take a bamboo raft downstream from Xingcun or climb up the steps from Wuyi Palace to enjoy the beauty of the mountains and waters and experience different artistic conceptions.
