Introduction

Donghai Island covers an area of about 401 square kilometers, with a beautiful beach of approximately 28 kilometers long, known as the "longest beach in China," comparable to Italy's "Golden Beach." Longshuilin is the only mountain peak on the island and also the highest, resembling a giant dragon rising up to the sky, very spectacular. During your visit to Donghai Island, don't miss the chance to taste the local fruits such as bananas, mangoes, and tree pineapples, which are sweeter than those on the mainland. The local specialty "Donghai fragrant melon" is short and round, resembling an apple with a sweet and crisp taste. "Renlongwu" is a unique folk art performance of Donghai Island, featuring a dragon made up of people, known as the "Eastern wonder." In addition to this, the island also possesses folk cultural forms such as the Leizhou dialect, Leizhou music, Leijiu, and Leige, which together form the unique Leizhou culture. Stroll on the island for a day, chat with the islanders, and feel the different city culture.
