Fengshan Park, Majestic Mazu Statue Overlooking the Harbor

Introduction
The Mazu statue, sculpted on top of Fengshan Mountain, stands 16.83 meters high and weighs 1000 tons. This statue is made of high-quality granite from Mazu's hometown in Putian, Fujian, and is composed of 468 carved granite blocks. Next to the statue is an inscription of the four characters "Tian Hou Sheng Mu," which was written by the famous Chinese writer Bing Xin. Inside the park, the Phoenix Altar Exhibition Hall showcases traditional customs and culture of the fishing communities in Shanwei. Additionally, there is a theater showcasing rare Chinese operas such as Zhengzi Drama, Bazi Drama, and Xiqin Opera masks; the Mazu Sanctum Modeling Art Museum, which displays the touching stories and legends of Mazu's life; and other entertainment and sightseeing spots such as the Dinosaur World Park, Chinese Zodiac Park, and Children's Park.
