Introduction
Qianmen Street is a famous commercial street located on the central axis of Beijing, connecting from Moon Bay to Tianqiao Intersection and connecting with Tianqiao South Street. The street is about 845 meters long and was known as Zhengyangmen Street from the Ming and Qing dynasties to the Republic of China. It was commonly known as Qianmen Street among the public until it was officially named Qianmen Street in 1965. There are many well-known old shops here, such as Quanjude and Donglaishun, as well as Dashilan and Xianyukou Hutong. On the basis of preserving the old shops and traditional features, Qianmen Street has gradually opened new stores such as clothing department stores, food, and clock and watch shops.
