Introduction

The largest Buddhist garden in northern China is known as "Red Snail in the North, Putuo in the South", and has always been a holy place for worshipping and praying in the Beijing area. The Red Snail Temple is divided into two parts: the main temple area and the Five Hundred Arhats Forest, located near the main hall, and the Guanyin Temple on the mountain top. It is said that the Guanyin Temple is particularly effective for praying for children, while the Red Snail Temple is a place for marriage. At the Red Snail Temple, the Royal Bamboo Forest, the Male-Female Ginkgoes, and the Purple Wisteria and Pine Trees are known as the Three Scenic Wonders. In addition, the ancient towering trees, the beauty of the "Three Friends of Winter", viewing flowers in spring, avoiding the heat in summer, and appreciating the red leaves in autumn, are also unique features of the Red Snail Temple.
