Introduction

This city zoo is located on Xizhimenwai Street, Xicheng District, Beijing, with a history of over 100 years, and is the largest and most diverse in terms of animal species. The entire zoo is divided into three areas: East, South, and North, with the main entrance in the East. Additionally, in the North area, visitors can purchase separate tickets to visit the Beijing Aquarium. Here there are many rare Chinese indigenous animals, such as giant pandas, golden monkeys, North China tigers, red-crowned cranes, as well as animals from around the world, such as African chimpanzees, Australian kangaroos, American leopards, and Mexican manatees. The Science Museum is a highlight, where children can learn about animal knowledge and various scientific lectures are often held.
