Introduction
History: Sixianyan Village is located in Sikou Town, Wuyuan County, Jiangxi Province, about 13 kilometers from Ziyang Town. The village was founded in the fifth year of the Southern Song Dynasty's Qingyuan era (1199), and now has a history of more than 800 years.
Architecture: Congting Hall, Mingxun Hall, Yuqing Hall, and other ancient buildings are representative buildings in the village. There are now 156 ancient houses, including five Ming Dynasty buildings and more than 80 Qing Dynasty buildings. Therefore, it is known as the first village of Confucian merchants in the Huizhou region.
Features: Sixianyan Village is mainly composed of ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The houses are connected by antique and exquisite blue stone pavements, and the architectural group relies on green mountains, connected with clear streams and rice fields.
