Introduction

The China Hakka Museum is located in the downtown area of Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, also known as the "Hakka Capital of the World". This is a comprehensive museum dedicated to collecting, researching, and displaying the Hakka history and culture. The museum consists of the main museum of the Hakka Museum and eight branch museums, including the Huang Zunxian Memorial Hall, the Meizhou University President's Hall, the Meizhou General's Hall, the Meizhou Overseas Chinese Museum, the Hakka Plaque Museum, the Meizhou Famous Officials Hall, the Exhibition Center, and the "Hakka Cultural Relics" magazine. The main museum covers an area of 5984.7 square meters, with a building area of 12,000 square meters. The museum features the "Hakkas" themed exhibition, divided into five parts: "Where did the Hakkas come from?", "Hakka customs and culture", "The landmark Hakka houses", "The cultural and art display area", and "The development of the Hakka people". The exhibition showcases the Hakka history, culture, and spirit, conveying the profound cultural heritage of the Hakkas to the world.
