Introduction

Jinggang ancient town is located on the west bank of the Xiang River, once a natural harbor with numerous merchants, it's also known as "Little Hong Kong" and "Little Hankou". The streets here are paved with bluestone, lined with antique houses and shops in the late Qing style. Tourists can also watch the traditional handmade crafts such as making scales and iron forging. The important attractions include Ningxiang Association, Bayuan Hall, and Hong Tai Fang brothel culture performance art museum, the last Qing Dynasty brothel in Changsha. The houses built along the river are hanging-feet buildings with the characteristics of southern water towns, magnificent and unique as a urban leisure resort.
