Introduction

The Sistine Chapel is a Catholic chapel located in the Vatican Palace, adjacent to St. Peter's Basilica. The chapel is decorated with the famous ceiling painting "The Creation of Adam" and the wall painting "The Last Judgment" by Michelangelo. Additionally, the Sistine Chapel is the location for the election of the Pope.
