Introduction
In 1990, Italian sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro designed two brass sculptures called "Divided World". One was placed in the Vatican gardens and the other was gifted to the United Nations by Italy. This sculpture, with a diameter of nearly 4 meters, is composed of a large ball and a small ball that can rotate independently inside. The sculpture aims to remind people that if we do not control environmental pollution and population growth, the Earth will suffer from devastating destruction.
