Introduction

The North Rim, located in the Grand Canyon National Park, stands over 8000 feet tall and is unique. The mountain road here is rugged, with wildflowers and soft cottonwood and spruce trees covering the grassy meadows. The air is thin, and the sky is clear and blue as can be. If you want solitude away from the crowds, this is definitely a good choice. However, please note that it is colder and more humid than the South Rim and only open to tourists from mid-May to mid-October.
