Introduction

Similan in Malay means the number nine, so the Similan islands are composed of nine islands. These islands are arranged in three groups of three. The fourth and eighth islands have management offices responsible for supervising activities on the various islands. The Thai navy also sets buoys at each diving point and anchor area to prevent damage to corals and other organisms when ships anchor. These islands remain undeveloped and retain their original, pure and natural beauty, which is enchanting. Under the island, there are countless colorful coral reefs, peculiar-shaped stones, and rich marine life, which is why it is one of the top ten diving spots in the world according to diving enthusiasts.
