Introduction

Fat Margaret Tower was the main gateway to the port of Tallinn in the Middle Ages, adjacent to the famous Great Coastal Gate. There are many 15th century houses of merchants and nobles here, as well as some ancient guilds and museums nearby. Although not the highest, this fortress is the thickest and offers a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea from atop.
