Introduction

This mountain is located on Sky Island, with various bizarre peaks and stones and swirling clouds and mists. The scenery is very beautiful, and standing on the mountain, you can overlook magnificent views. This mountain used to be part of the Hoy Island, gradually eroded and collapsed by the surrounding rocks due to the continuous impact of the waves, and eventually only a sea-eroded column remained standing alone, experiencing centuries of vicissitudes. The Old Man Rock, standing at 719 meters, is located in a flat highland grassland, with a maximum width of only 27 meters. It was an important landmark for ship navigation in ancient times. It takes about 3 hours to climb to the top of the mountain but if you have already purchased a day pass, you can climb up and down and take a car. As the mountain road is difficult to walk in rainy days, it is recommended to avoid climbing.
