Introduction

The Kotor city wall is located in the eastern part of the old town and is approximately 4.5 kilometers long. It is built on steep cliffs and is more challenging than the Great Wall of China. Although it may look like a mini version of the Chinese Great Wall from afar, it does not have the same majestic feeling. However, the city wall has its unique aspect: when you climb up to it, you can see the panoramic view of the entire Boka Bay and Kotor city, which is incredibly stunning. If you have enough energy and plenty of time, we recommend visiting the city wall.
