Introduction
Forbidden Island is a semi-island located southeast of Saipan Island. When the tide is high, Forbidden Island and Saipan Island are completely separated, but there is still a part connected during low tide. Due to its unique geographical location, Forbidden Island is sparsely populated and the beach is filled with various shells and corals washed up by the sea, making it a breathtaking natural landscape.
In ancient times, when there was a prolonged drought, the local indigenous people would select a strong man and bring him to Forbidden Island, chop off his head, and throw it into the sea to sacrifice to the gods and pray for rain. This ancient ritual has been continued for centuries on Forbidden Island.
